Bio
Melba Seto is the owner and artist behind Bowness Soapworks and Seto Pottery. Her work is inspired by her adventures climbing, paddling and foraging in the Rockies and their foothills. Combined with her passion for functional ceramics each piece is infused with inspiration from her Chinese heritage. Melba believes in working closely with the community and other artists and you’ll find regular collaborations of her work with another artist! Much of her work focuses on sharing the proceeds to support local non profits and charities, including CKUA radio, Alberta Wilderness Association, TaBVAR, Alberta White Water Assoc and more!

Parking &/or Access Considerations: The studio is located in the garage. Please follow the signs to access the studio via the side gate or back gate. This is a residential area, so please be mindful of neighbours and driveways when parking. There is ample parking in front of the studio location, side streets, and the back alley.
