Bio
Patricia Wegerhoff is a Calgary-based mixed media artist whose work explores the textures and rhythms of the natural world. Using materials such as wool, oil paint, ink, sand, and cold wax, she builds layered abstract surfaces inspired by organic shapes, such as, petals, stone, bark, soil, and lichen. Her intuitive process allows the materials to guide composition, inviting a slow unfolding of form and feeling. Patricia also runs The Curated Life, an online gallery and lifestyle brand that weaves together art, nature, and intentional living.
