Nadine Winsor is the ceramic artist behind Calgary Clay Co, creating functional pottery inspired by her pivot toward slow living, and recently, exploring themes of Canadian pride. Trained as a pharmacist, a move abroad offered pause from the hustle and Nadine reconnected with pottery as a grounding practice. Her process embraces the natural rhythms of clay, shaping each piece by hand and developing many of her own glazes from raw minerals, balancing chemistry with the magic of kiln firing. Her pottery offers an invitation to slow down and savor simple joys, whether a quiet morning coffee or a shared meal.
