Krista Maurer's original mixed media works are rich in texture and inspired by both physical nature and human nature. A former high school art specialist, Krista explores many facets in her art. Looking, learning to see, spontaneous image development and experimentation are central themes in Krista's process. Recent pieces are primarily inspired by organic forms found in nature or faces and figures that explore many facets of the human condition. From big sky to macro detail Krista's artwork will take you on a beautiful journey...the stunning foothills views from her studio will take your breath away! Refreshments are provided.
