What started as a hobby has become an all consuming passion for Calgary based potter Deanne Lueck. She finds herself constantly drawn to the wheel which provides her a sense of calm or hand building which opens the door for organic creativity. Each piece is a true expression of herself whether it's through shape, texture, design or glaze. Some pieces may be highly detailed and some may be simplistic, it all depends on the piece and how she wants to portray it.
