Full time glass artist, Deanna McGillivray playful approach to her work lands herself between a wide variety of glass making techniques. She continuously is refreshing her functional designs while exploring blown glass, hot glass sculpting, kiln casting, stained glass, and flame worked jewelry. Deanna works between her home studio in Calgary and Fireweed Glass Studio in beautiful mountain town of Canmore, Alberta.Deanna graduated from. the Alberta College of Design and has been a practicing artist for almost 20yrs. Her work can be found in galleries in Alberta and B.C, online and in person.
