Claudia Lorenz
Bio
Claudia's artistic journey began with a love of paper and art materials as a child. Drawing, painting, crafting, all of which led to a lifelong pursuit of art-making. First in photography, and now in art. Her work often explores themes of melancholy, belonging, and wistfulness, working primarily in collage & mixed media. In 2023 Claudia completed the Creative Visionary Program with Nicholas Wilton. Most recently in 2024 she was an artist-in-residence at Sparrow Artspace and again in 2025 as part of Abstract6 in Calgary, AB. Member of: Abstract'd Art Collective Alberta Printmakers Society Federation of Canadian Artists Core Collective
