Bio
Becky McNabb is a Calgary-based artist born and raised on the prairies of Saskatchewan, where expansive skies and sweeping landscapes first shaped her love of colour. Becky earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Painting from the University of Calgary in 2004. Though creativity remained a constant undercurrent, she reconnected with her painting practice in 2020. Her work draws deeply from nature’s textures and palettes blending organic forms with modern geometric elements. Becky’s compositions celebrate the rhythm, pattern, and atmosphere of the natural world while layering in luminous glazes that echo nostalgic warmth and soft glow of prairie sunset clouds.
