Bio
Yvonne is a multidisciplinary artist whose four‑decade practice spans painting, sculpture, and design. A graduate of the Ontario College of Art, she is known for expressive, colourful works defined by loose, confident brushstrokes and a deep connection to nature. An award‑winning gardener, her cultivated landscapes serve as living studios that inspire her still life, landscape, plein‑air, and abstract pieces. She also works in welded steel, creating sculptural forms that echo the energy of her paintings. Her contemporary focus on abstract acrylic and mixed‑media compositions reflects a lifelong commitment to experimentation, learning, and creating beauty with meaning.
