Pamela Friesen
Bio
Pamela lives and creates in her home art studio in southeast Calgary, surrounded by the beauty of the Southern Alberta Foothills. She values the time and freedom to fully immerse herself in her creative practice, working primarily in acrylic and mixed media to produce abstract to semi-abstract paintings. Her work is inspired by the surrounding landscape—its shifting light, rich colour and layered textures. A self-taught artist with a strong desire to continually learn and explore new techniques, Pamela finds the evolution of her work deeply rewarding as she refines her skills and develops original, expressive pieces of art.
