Meghan Dwyre (she/her) is an artist based in Calgary specializing in watercolour, oil and soft pastels. Her artistic focus often centers on expressive flowers, though her portfolio spans a diverse range of themes, reflecting her curiosity, versatility, and love of storytelling. She paints flowers for their transience, drawn to the gesture of a bloom just past its prime. Her work explores in-between moments, where something is on the cusp of change. Her work lingers in these liminal spaces, inviting viewers to slow down, look closer, and recognize themselves in the tension between presence and passing.
