Mavis Gauchier is a Calgary Acrylic artist working out of her home studio. She draws inspiration from her passion for capturing macro images through photography. While flowers are the central theme of her work she has a deep appreciation for the small details in nature both flora and fauna. Fascinated by the interplay of shapes, colors, and textures found in nature's often overlooked details, she continually explores avenues to express her unique perspective. Her paintings invite viewers to delve deeper, enticing them with intricate compositions creating pieces that lift the soul and offer an invitation to pause and reflect.
