Bio
Lucie Bause has been living in the Bow River Valley for the past 35 years. She works from her home-based studio in Cochrane, Alberta. She is inspired by the Natural world around her and enjoys painting the land, skies and wildlife of the region. She enjoys observing the seasons change, and depicting the range of seasonal colours through her acrylic painting. She loves using stylized design and bold colour. She feels that colour is a wonderful tool to help express energy, memory and emotion. Her intention is to celebrate Nature and to share joy and beauty through her art.
