Doro Buch
Bio
Doro Buch is a Polish-German visual artist living and working in Calgary. With a background in sociology, she brings a thoughtful perspective to her work, combining an understanding of human relationships and social structures with her artistic practice. Primarily a painter, Doro also works with multimedia, integrating oil painting with animation, projection mapping, and sound to expand the narrative potential of her images. At Sparrow Artspace she is currently collaborating with Diana Olarte and Claudia Chagoya on the collective project Where Wings Carry Us, which explores migration, adaptation, and human connection through the metaphor of birds.
