Colleen Granger
Bio
Colleen Granger is a visual artist who has newly relocated to Calgary. Influenced by her prairie roots, her work shows a sensitivity to space, texture, natural rhythm and patterns. Working mainly in water-based media and fiber arts, Colleen endeavours to explore the boundaries between human and nature. The organic fluidity of paint and the tactile nature of rug hook search for a visual language to express the tenuous and visceral interconnection of life on the planet. She looks forward to creating new works influenced by her new home surrounded by foothills, mountains and trees.
