Bio
Alyce has always loved the look and texture of stained glass and mosaics, especially how the process involves using bits of color to create an image. Alyce started working with stained glass and mosaic in the mid 1990s. Mosaic, especially, allows for great color variety and flexibility for her ideas. Her materials come from thrift stores, where there’s an amazing array of colors, textures and 'findings'. Her inspiration comes from everywhere – a unique pattern, a friend’s cat, a stand of trees. As her work area started taking over the house, her kids decided she was the ‘Crazy Mosaic Lady’.
