Bio
Laurie Aldridge is a Calgary-based artist who loves beautiful colour, juicy paint, visible brush strokes and lost edges. Laurie has been juried into several art shows, and in 2022 was part of the team that created “Come Paint Alberta-A Collaborative Plein Air Event”, which led to a 6-week exhibition at the Leighton Art Centre. In 2023, Laurie joined the 500 Collective, and In 2024, exhibited in the Christine Klassen Gallery in a show called “Lost and Found”. Laurie’s practice reflects her love of trying new things, and through her experimentation finds joy in where her art takes her.
