Alyce started working with stained glass and mosaic in the mid 1990s. Mosaic, especially, allows for great color variety and flexibility for her ideas. Her materials come from thrift stores, where there’s an amazing array of colors, textures and 'findings'. Her inspiration comes from everywhere – a unique pattern, a friend’s cat, a stand of trees.
